CEO - M&G Securities Limited

William Nott has been CEO of M&G Securities, the retail funds business of M&G, since 2006 and is also Chief Strategy Officer of M&G Group. Earlier this year, he was elected President of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), the leading investment management industry association, after serving a two-year term as its Vice-President.

Mr Nott has worked at M&G since graduating from Warwick University in 1984. Having managed retail and institutional funds for the first twelve years of his career, he gained commercial experience first as head of Institutional Business Development and then head of Group Sales.

In June 2000, he became Chief Executive Officer of M&G International to oversee the development of M&G’s fund distribution into Europe. Since 2000, Mr Nott has been a member of the Executive Board of M&G. M&G is part of Prudential plc, and looks after over €275 billion in savings for millions of people across Europe and Asia.
