Partner, Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen

Partner within Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen, Sophie's practice concentrates on collective asset management, investment funds, management companies and professionals of the financial sector. She advises a number of investment fund promoters and other financial institutions in relation to the set-up, structuring and administration of their Luxembourg investment fund operations.

Sophie is member of the various groups of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and of the Luxembourg Association of Compliance Officers (ALCO)  dealing with investment funds and management companies topics.

Sophie became a member of the Bordeaux Bar in 2001 and joined Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen in July 2002. She was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in July 2004 under her home title and became Avocat à la Cour of the Luxembourg Bar in December 2010. Before joining Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen, Sophie worked in law firms in Bordeaux.

Sophie is maître en droit from the Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV and holds a DESS (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées) in business law and tax as well as a certificate in English Law from the University of Warwick. She is fluent in English and French.
