Sanjiv Sawhney

Group Chief Executive Officer, Waystone

Sanjiv Sawhney leads the business on all operational and strategic matters, supported by a strong, established senior management team across business lines and core functions.

He joined Waystone from Citi, where he held numerous roles, leading global and regional Investor Services teams, his last role being that of Global Head of Client Coverage, Securities Services. Prior to this, Sanjiv held various positions within Citi, including Global Head of Custody and Fund Services, Head of Global Custody and Alternative Investor Services, Head of Securities and Fund Services for EMEA, and Global Head of Fund Services, amongst others.

In addition to his 28-year tenure with Citi, he worked at J.P. Morgan for three years, as the European Fund Services Operations Head as well as Managing Director and Board Member of J.P. Morgan Bank, Luxembourg.

He received his degrees from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.
