Renato Guerriero

Deputy CEO, Global Development & Distribution, Candriam

Renato Guerriero is Deputy CEO, Global Development & Distribution, and Chief Sales & Distribution Officer at Candriam. He has been a member of the Group Strategic Committee since 2016 and the Executive Committee since 2014.

He oversees Candriam’s global sales and distribution activities, including offices across Europe, the US, and the Middle East, as well as consultant relations, RFP activities, strategic partnerships, and overall client experience.

He joined Candriam in 1999 within the Institutional Sales team and went on to establish and lead the firm’s Italian operations. In 2011, he was appointed Global Head of European Client Relations. Earlier in his career, he worked at Morgan Guaranty Trust in Brussels.

Renato holds a degree in Economics from the University of Perugia and has completed an Asset Management Program at Bocconi University, as well as an Executive MBA Program at Vlerick Business School.

He is a former Chairman and current Board Member of AEIP and serves on several boards of Luxembourg SICAVs. He is fluent in five European languages.
