Chief Product Officer, Waystone

Pervaiz Panjwani is a seasoned banking and investor services executive with over 30 years of experience in driving strategic product initiatives and complex implementations across global markets. As Waystone’s Chief Product Officer, Pervaiz leads Waystone’s product development strategy globally. His focus is on driving product initiatives, large client relationships, complex deals and transformation.

Prior to this role, Pervaiz was the Co-Global Head of Funds Services at Citi, where he spearheaded a comprehensive global funds strategy across more than 20 domiciles. He played a key role in defining Citi’s global funds strategy and winning and executing significant large asset management mandates across multi-product portfolios including ETFs, Middle Office, Transfer Agency, Accounting and Depository. His oversight of a large global team resulted in strong revenue growth and the successful execution of a digital first transformation in funds services.

Throughout his career, Pervaiz has achieved industry recognition, including the Global Custodian Legend award in 2020. An active speaker and thought leader, he has contributed to key industry forums and served on various boards.

Pervaiz holds an MBA in Finance from Hamdard University, Pakistan, and has completed advanced certifications in risk and credit management.
