Senior Vice President and Head of Relationship Management & Sales for Hong Kong, Brown Brothers Harriman

Michael Tsang is Senior Vice President and Head of Relationship Management & Sales for Hong Kong. He joined BBH in 2015 to reinforce the firm’s business development team in Greater China.

Mr. Tsang has almost 30 years of experience in financial services. He was formerly Managing Director for the Financial and Risk business segment at Thomson Reuters. Additionally, he sits on the PMC Sub-Committee of the Treasury Markets Association in Hong Kong.

Prior to Reuters, Mr. Tsang was Director (Greater China) for Brokat Technologies where he established and ran its Greater China operations. Previously, he worked extensively in the financial derivatives industry, having worked for Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Morgan Stanley structuring and distributing Equity, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Commodity linked instruments to hedge funds, private banks, investment banks, and investment managers across the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Tsang holds an MBA from the London Business School and an MA in History and Economics from Oxford University.
