Former Executive Vice Chairman - Schroders plc

Massimo Tosato is Executive Vice Chairman at Schroders. He was appointed to Schroders plc Board of Directors in 2001 and became Executive Vice Chairman in 2007. He was Chairman of Schroder International Selection Fund (SICAV) in Luxembourg since 1999 and a Member of the Board of Directors of Schroders Italy SIM S.p.A. In July 2014 Mr Schroder also became a member of the Board at Nutmeg, a pioneer online discretionary investment management start-up in the UK. He covered various international roles, after initially joining Schroders (Italy) in 1995 as Managing Director.

He was Chief Executive for Schroder Investment Management Limited from 2012 to 2016 and Global Head of Distribution from 2004 to 2016. Mr Schroder was also a member of Schroders’ Group Management Committee and Group Capital Committee, and Chairman of the alternatives subsidiary Schroders NewFinance Capital LLP.
