Dr. Jian (Helen) Liang

Head of China Market, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, S.A.

Dr. Jian (Helen) Liang is Head of China Market of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, S.A. (BIL) and a member of the Executive Committee since November 2023.

She previously served as Managing Director for the German private bank Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG (HAL), Head of China Desk, CEO of Hauck Private Fund Management (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., the management board of Hauck Investment Management (Nanjing) Co. Ltd., Member of Credit Risk Management Committee and Co-head of Corporate Finance/M&A. Prior to HAL, she worked at Fosun Group (0656.HK) as Executive Director in the Private Banking & Wealth Management division and was responsible for investment activities of Fosun Group in European financial market and post-investment management.

Dr. Liang started her career in 2009 at Commerzbank Frankfurt Headquarter where she was a credit officer mainly responsible for DAX listed companies. She was then assigned to the Asian Headquarter of Commerzbank in Shanghai as project manager responsible for credit strategy, process, and regulatory requirements as well as credit risk management. In 2012, Dr. Liang became Managing Director and deputy general manager of Commerzbank Beijing Branch, leading the China Desk and being responsible for cross-border transactions of corporate banking and trade finance.

She completed her PhD study at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany.
