John Lee

Managing Director & Head of Legal, Macquarie Asset Management

John is the Head of Legal for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) in Luxembourg. In this role, he oversees the legal and regulatory aspects of MAM’s Private Markets business in Luxembourg and leads the governance teams in MAM’s Luxembourg and London offices.

Prior to assuming his role in Luxembourg, John was General Counsel for MAM’s Real Assets business in Asia, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for the firm’s infrastructure funds across the region (excluding Korea).

John holds a Master of Laws (Honors) from University College London and is admitted as a solicitor in Australia, England & Wales and the Hong Kong SAR.
