Business Development & Sales Planning, Allfunds Bank SA

Jaime Pérez-Maura is the Global Head of Business Development & Sales Planning of Allfunds Bank. He is also responsible of Communication at Allfunds.

Jaime has a deep knowledge of the Fund Industry and has been working on this sector for the past sixteen years. He joined BSN-Banif (now Santander Private Bank, part of Santander Group) in 1999, with an active and relevant role in the foundation of Allfunds Bank.

In the year 2000, Allfunds Bank was created as a spin-off of the international funds department of BSN-BANIF, and Jaime joined the Research Department leading the fund research of different asset classes such as Emerging Markets, European and Global Equities. In year 2008, he was appointed Head of Research and in 2010 he took full responsibility of the Investment Consulting Department.

In year 2013, he was appointed Head of Business Development & Sales Planning, and since then he has been defining the strategy of the bank’s expansion, global coordination of commercial efforts while running the communication of the Group. He is a member of the Executive Committee and attends to other key internal committees as the Risk & Compliance committee. He is a frequent panelist at industry forums and a prolific writer across fund specialized media.

Mr. Pérez-Maura holds a Bachelor degree in Laws from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Master on Stock Markets and a Valuation Advanced Programme from IEB in Madrid.
