Emmanuel Doumas is Senior Policy Officer in the Investor Protection and Sustainable Finance Department of the European Securities and Markets Authouty (ESMA), where he is been in charge of the work on PRIIPs since 2014. At ESMA, he has also been in charge of the cost disclosures related issues linked to PRIIPs in the context of the ongoing discussions on the RIS proposal.

Before joining ESMA, he was deputy head of the savings and financial market division (asset management related issues) of the Directorate-General of the French Treasury.

He graduated from the French Ecole Normale Superieure and Corps des ponts, des eaux et des forêts (Mathematics and Physics) and obtained a PhD in economics.
