Edward has over 30 years’ experience in the investment market and has extensive knowledge of the fund management business.
Edward started his career at Schroders (1982-1986) and spent eight years at Electra Investment Trust before joining Jupiter in 1994 as a UK fund manager. Edward ran the Jupiter UK Growth Fund from 1 July 1994 to 31 December 2000 and Jupiter Undervalued Assets Fund from 1 January 2001 to 31 March 2009.
Edward was appointed Chief Investment Officer in 1999 and Joint Group Chief Executive of Jupiter Investment Management Group Limited in May 2000. Edward relinquished his role as Chief Investment Officer in February 2010 and became Group Chief Executive. Edward was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company in June 2007 and on 17 March 2014 he took on a new executive role as Vice Chairman.
On 1 January 2014, Edward joined the board of Land Securities Group plc as non-executive director.
He holds a degree in politics and economics from Manchester University and speaks English and French.
