Christophe Girondel is Global Head of Institutional and Retail/Wholesale Distribution and a Member of Executive Committee at Nordea Asset Management. He joined the company in 2003 and has held various positions at the firm. He is currently in charge of distribution and has been a member of the six person Executive Committee since 2011. Nordea Asset Management manages €225 billion in assets for different client segments across different asset classes in Europe and beyond. Under Mr Girondel’s tenure, the non-group related assets have grown significantly and represent half of Nordea Asset Management’s asset base today. Mr Girondel holds a Master in Finance and Business Economics from Sciences Po Paris and studied business economics at the University of Mannheim in Germany.
